Qualifood Trading Ltd, a company engaged in the import, sales, and distribution of food products across Cyprus, is seeking to hire a Purchasing & Supply Chain Officer for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with domestic and international suppliers and transporters to coordinate and manage orders and deliveries of goods.
  • Analyze market trends and evaluate suppliers with the aim of negotiating contracts and prices, optimizing cost efficiency and supply chain performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, plan replenishments, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Operate specialized software to support department needs (invoice entry, product costing, reporting, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
  • Maintain and update the system database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Economics.
  • Very good knowledge of computers (MS Office, especially Excel).
  • Previous experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered an additional asset.
