Cost Control Analyst
bbf:bbf: is one of the leading and fastest growing companies in the property market in Cyprus and Greece, offering its clients such services, as property sales, rentals, management, construction, and other related services. Currently, bbf: is enlarging its internal staff, and we are looking for a Cost Control Analyst to join our team in Limassol.
The Cost Control Analyst ensures accurate financial tracking and budget compliance across construction projects by monitoring expenditures, analyzing cost variances, and building the data models and reporting tools that support these decisions. This track suits candidates with a finance, management-accounting, or data-analytics background who bring strong quantitative, modeling, and reporting skills. Construction-specific knowledge — BoQ structure, QS principles, site processes and terminology — will be provided through structured on-the-job training and direct mentoring by the Cost Control Manager.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain cost-tracking models and reporting dashboards for active construction projects
- Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts from structured project data
- Consolidate and analyze supplier and contractor cost estimates for budget alignment
- Maintain and improve the data pipeline linking project-level cost data to the consolidated analytics workbook (e.g. Excel / Power Query)
- Support budget reviews and cost-saving initiatives with data-driven insights, working closely with the Cost Control Manager and other departments
Requirements for the position:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3–5 years' experience in financial analysis, management/cost accounting, business intelligence, or data analytics (construction industry experience not required)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, Power Query, pivot tables); experience with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is a strong plus
- Strong numerical analysis, data modeling, and data interpretation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to fully traceable, auditable figures
- Professional English fluency (Greek advantageous)
- Experience preparing financial/cost reports and presentations
- Genuine interest and aptitude for learning construction cost control principles, QS terminology and BoQ structures — full training provided
