Expression of Interest

UoL invites expressions of interest from outstanding academics who wish to be considered for future faculty appointments in the Health Sciences School currently under development.

Applications are invited across all academic ranks (Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor) from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Health Data Science
• Digital health
• Artificial Intelligence in Health
• Data Science and Analytics
• Biostatistics
• Health Systems and Health Policy
• Healthcare Management and Leadership

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate:

• A strong academic and research background relevant to one or more of the above disciplines
• Evidence of scholarly achievement and publication activity
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and student supervision
• Deadline: Applications must be submitted by July 30.The ability to contribute to the development of innovative academic programmes and research initiatives
• Experience in interdisciplinary and international collaboration will be considered an advantage

Interested candidates should provide their expression of interest by submitting the following documents:

• Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
• Five-year research plan
• List of publications
• Two letters of recommendation from senior academics or professional supervisors supporting the candidate’s academic qualifications, research profile, and teaching/leadership experience

Candidates should be eligible to work in the European Union/European Economic Area.
