Chief Operating Officer (COO)

On behalf of a leading marketing agency in Cyprus, based in Nicosia.

Overview

We are looking for a highly capable and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organisation and support the effective delivery of the company’s strategic objectives.

Role Profile

The COO will play a key leadership role, bringing alignment across operational processes, financial performance monitoring, and people management to help the business operate effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of company strategy across all operational areas of the organisation.
  • Coordinate operational activities across divisions to ensure alignment with business goals and performance targets.
  • Drive productivity improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance and support the management of personnel-related matters.
  • Align the work of different departments and coordinate department heads and operational teams.
  • Support clear and effective communication across the organisation.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of operational processes and internal systems.
  • Establish efficient workflows, improve procedures, and strengthen reporting structures.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure progress toward operational targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Experience in process development and operational improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage personnel effectively.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar leadership position.
