Housekeeper / Turnover Specialist Wanted

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper to manage daily guest turnovers across our short-let apartments (currently 4, expanding to 6). The role is based between two nearby locations, a short walk apart.

The role

• Two work bases: the apartment building (Finikoudes area) and a second site (Hostel, Chrysopolitissa area) with a private work room, washing machine and dryer
• Schedule: 6 days per week, with one fixed day off per week of your choosing (always scheduled on a quiet day with no check-ins/outs; guests are told at least 2 days ahead when cleaning is not available)
• Working hours: 9:00 to 17:00 (8-hour shift including a 1-hour break); realistic hands-on work is around 6 hours per day
• Pay: 1,500 EUR/month gross

A typical day

• 9:00: Start at the Hostel: clean the 2 bathrooms and common areas, and empty bins
• About 1 hour of laundry (wash, dry, iron) on a rolling basis for all apartments
• 11:00: Move to the apartments for check-out turnovers (you will be briefed in advance on how many check-outs there are that day; with one you can start a bit later, with several you need to be on-site right at 11:00)
• Turnover standard: mop floors, change to fresh bed linen, and provide fresh towels for a hotel-grade finish
• Optional: light refresh 2 hours later on request (towel top-up, tidy)
• Everything wrapped up by 16:00, with the day closing back at the Hostel
• Quick garden check at Kimonos morning and evening: keep it tidy and flag if it needs a proper monthly clean-up

What you will need

• Comfortable operating a PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, and able to explain them to guests
• Able to set up the apartment TVs
• Confident with a vacuum cleaner and an efficient cleaning routine (beds, then dust, then vacuum)
• General ease with everyday household and entertainment tech

Time off

• No paid sick or vacation days meaning that you can arrange your own cover (friend, daughter, sister, etc.) when out
• Vacation capped at 2 weeks per block
• A big plus if you can bring a backup person from day one who we can train alongside you

Getting around

• Own car is ideal; otherwise we can provide an e-scooter, or you can walk it (Hostel to the apartments is about 800m)
• No need to carry laundry; our team collects it from the Hostel 1 to 2 times per week
