PrimeDesign Consulting Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who is motivated to develop professionally, has strong technical thinking, and is interested in building services engineering.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on real projects across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, office, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

The engineer will participate in the design and coordination of mechanical building services, including:

• Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems
• Plumbing installations, water supply, and drainage systems
• Fire protection and firefighting systems
• Preparation of drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and equipment schedules
• Coordination with architects, electrical engineers, civil engineers, contractors, and clients
• Technical support during the construction stage and attendance at site inspections
• Participation in BIM / Revit coordination processes, where required

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Good understanding of mechanical building services systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
• Strong organisational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Very good command of Greek and good command of English

The Following Will Be Considered an Advantage

• Previous experience in an MEP or building services consultancy
• Knowledge of Revit / BIM
• Experience in HVAC calculations and relevant design software
• Knowledge of Cyprus regulations, energy-efficiency requirements, and applicable European standards
• Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or healthcare projects
