CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established producer and supplier of bottled water across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Machine Operator to join their growing team based in Ergates, Nicosia. As a Machine Operator, you will primarily be responsible for the operation and monitoring of bottling and packaging machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally graduates of a technical school in a relevant field of study, with previous experience in machine operation in a manufacturing and/or food & beverage environment considered a significant advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor bottling and packaging machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production.
• Set up machines for daily production runs, including adjustments and changeovers as required.
• Perform routine operational checks to ensure equipment is functioning within specifications.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and report technical issues to maintenance personnel when necessary.
• Execute routine cleaning and sanitation of machines in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure consistent production flow.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Graduate of a Technical or Vocational School (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or food & beverage environment will be considered an advantage.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify common machine faults.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
