In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation, safety, and overall upkeep of the company’s facilities and equipment. You will focus on both preventative and corrective maintenance, helping to maintain high standards across all areas and support a safe and efficient working environment. The position also includes Health & Safety (H&S) responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:00 (including a 1-hour break)
Key responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and planned maintenance, along with routine inspections of premises, fixtures, fittings, and equipment
- Coordinate and perform repairs, maintenance, and improvement works across company facilities
- Handle general technical tasks, including plumbing, painting, flooring repairs, basic electrical repairs, and HVAC maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Monitor construction and maintenance activities to ensure high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies in line with health and safety standards
- Take ownership of Health & Safety (H&S) responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Support the development and implementation of H&S procedures, risk assessments, and safety measures
- Undertake any other duties as required within the scope of facilities management
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
- Good technical knowledge in general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, repairs)
- Good knowledge of the Greek language; English will be considered an advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Experience or qualification in Health & Safety will be considered an advantage (training will be provided if not already certified)
