CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding provider of secure Payment Solutions to clients across the world, we are seeking to recruit an Anti-Fraud Specialist to join their team in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be part of a team responsible for monitoring and detecting suspicious user transactions and conducting fraud investigations. You will hold a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience within a similar Anti-Fraud focused position, ideally from either a Bank, Payments Institution and/or Electronic Money Institution. Any relevant Anti-Fraud certificates/diplomas will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Russian would be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Monitoring and detection of suspicious user transactions
• Conducting fraud investigations.
• Assist in the development of rules to enhance our anti-fraud monitoring service.
• Research our system to identify new fraud patterns.
• Participation in the creation of anti-fraud monitoring service 24/7.
• Reporting to the CBC in accordance to the monthly/annual reporting requirements.
• Handling chargeback requests.
• Participation in the development of new features and product development.
• Analysis, testing, and optimization of parameters for anti-fraud monitoring.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• Fluent in English (Russian language will be considered an advantage).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Pleasant personality.
• Any Antifraud certificates/diplomas will be considered an advantage.
• Working in the Anti-Fraud department either a Bank, Payments Institution and/or Electronic Money Institution will be considered advantageous.
• Knowledge and Experience in Risk will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of card schemes rules will be considered an advantage.
• Flexible to travel.
• Willing to attend to several seminars.
