OSINT / DUE DILIGENCE ANALYST

On behalf of our client, a dynamic international investment and management firm based in Larnaca, we are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical, and self-motivated OSINT / Due Diligence Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time role responsible for conducting deep-dive background investigations, complex corporate ownership tracing, and risk assessments.

The Role

The primary focus of this role is thorough information gathering, deep-dive data verification, and structured analytical reporting. The Analyst will independently conduct end-to-end corporate and individual research across global public registries and intelligence tools, map out ownership chains, identify red flags, and deliver clear, high-quality due diligence reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Due Diligence & Screening: Conduct background checks on individuals, job candidates, vendors, and corporate counterparties using YouControl World, LexisNexis, LSEG World-Check, public registries, and advanced OSINT techniques.
• Corporate Structure & UBO Verification: Identify, trace, and analyze complex direct/indirect corporate ownership structures, cross-border holding chains, and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
• Risk Identification & Analysis: Assess potential exposures including sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), adverse media, ongoing litigation, conflicts of interest, and reputational risks.
• Entity Mapping: Uncover and evaluate hidden connections between individuals, companies, directors, shareholders, and related entities.
• Analytical Reporting: Prepare structured, high-level analytical reports outlining verified findings, risk metrics, red flags, and strategic recommendations.
• Multi-Jurisdictional Research: Perform deep-dive research across international jurisdictions, specifically focusing on Ukraine, Cyprus, the EU, the UK, the UAE, and the US.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Law, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Due Diligence, Background Screening, Corporate Intelligence, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Ukrainian is considered a strong advantage.
• Technical & OSINT Proficiency: Practical experience with tools such as YouControl / YouControl World, LexisNexis, and/or LSEG World-Check, alongside strong knowledge of OSINT methodologies and international due diligence standards.
• Analytical Competency: Proven ability to independently conduct investigations, analyze complex data sets, and deliver finalized analytical reports rather than simply compiling database exports.
• Personal Attributes: Meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to confidentiality and business ethics, strong self-organization, and exceptional time management.

Location & Work Type

• Location: Larnaca, Cyprus
• Work Arrangement: On-site with flexibility to work from home (Candidates must currently reside in or be legally entitled to work and reside in Cyprus).
• Employment Type: Full-time
