CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Civil Engineering consultancy based in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will join the infrastructure team, and will contribute to the design and delivery of road and drainage schemes for UK-based projects. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable, and familiarity with UK design standards and regulations is a plus. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, along with flexible working hours, and remote working options 1 day per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level Civil Engineer to work on large-scale developments, whilst being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Road and drainage design.
• Hydraulic analysis and modelling.
• Development of 3D models to support project delivery.
• Designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
• Highways, earthworks, and level design.
• Production of engineering solutions in line with UK standards and regulations.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Analytical mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills: 

• Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Causeway Flow hydraulic modelling software.
• Familiarity with UK design standards and regulations.
