We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and supporting business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Support the accounting team for various accounting matters.

• Review bookkeeping records maintained inhouse as well as the ones kept from external providers and oversee monthly closing procedures.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and any other ad-hoc reports requested by the Financial Controller or senior management.

• Monitor actual results against budgets and identify discrepancies for review.

• Monitor and agree intercompany balances and transactions.

• Prepare other reports or analyses requested by the Financial Controller or senior management.

• Assist with tax-related filings and tax issues arising.

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.

• Support the annual audits conducted by external auditors.

• Prepare annual budgets and/or forecasts.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Newly qualified accountant with relevant experience in audit and/or accounting and finance

• Experience with VAT preparation, submission, and Cyprus tax regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Knowledge of Navision BC or other accounting software is a plus

• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
