CareerFinders Recruitment Services LtdCareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a luxury fabrics and soft furnishings business representing prestigious European brands, we are seeking to recruit a Showroom & Operations Coordinator to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Showroom & Operations Coordinator, you will handle a range of duties, including placing orders with European suppliers via email, ensuring all specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery details are correct as well as checking, separating, and processing supplier invoices and related documentation accurately. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who possess excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, appointments, and priorities. A creative eye and genuine appreciation for interiors, colours, textiles, styling, and visual presentation is essential, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 09:30 – 13:30 and 15:30 – 18:30 in the winter and 09:30 – 13:30 and 16:00 – 19:00 in the summer with a two-hour break in the middle of the day.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Place orders with European suppliers via email, ensuring all specifications, quantities, pricing and delivery details are correct.
- Check, separate and process supplier invoices and related documentation accurately.
- Prepare professional and accurate client quotations and follow up where appropriate.
- Manage day-to-day email correspondence and provide administrative and organisational support to the sales team.
- Coordinate technicians’ installation schedules, liaising with clients, technicians and the internal team to ensure appointments and installations run smoothly.
- Organise couriers, deliveries and other logistics, ensuring reliable service and competitive pricing.
- Keep track of orders and deliveries and communicate updates to clients and colleagues.
- Maintain an organised, tidy, and visually appealing showroom.
- Welcome clients warmly and professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist clients with fabric, colour, and product selections, while developing strong product knowledge.
- Create attractive Instagram posts, stories and other social media content featuring new collections, fabrics, completed projects, showroom displays, and brand updates.
- Help maintain a consistent, elegant, and engaging social media presence in keeping with the luxury positioning of the business.
- Assist with newsletters, new collection launches, product updates and other communications to clients, interior designers, architects, and associates.
- Gradually develop into a more active sales role by building client relationships, following up on enquiries and identifying sales opportunities, with the potential to earn commission.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Fluent in both English and Greek, written and spoken.
- An additional language would be considered an advantage.
- A strong educational background, ideally with a university degree or relevant professional qualification. Studies in business, marketing, communications, interior design or a related field would be particularly welcomed.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, appointments and priorities.
- Strong administrative ability and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and responsible, with the ability to follow through on tasks and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Confident, articulate, friendly and professional when communicating with clients, suppliers and associates.
- Good IT skills, including Excel, and confidence using and learning different software and digital tools.
- Social-media savvy, particularly with Instagram, with the ability to create attractive and polished content.
- A creative eye and genuine appreciation for interiors, colours, textiles, styling and visual presentation.
- Basic accounting, invoicing, or bookkeeping knowledge would be an advantage.
- Experience with newsletters, email marketing or content-creation tools would be a plus.
- Comfortable working within a small, family-run business where flexibility, initiative and teamwork are important.
- An interest in developing client relationships and sales skills.
