WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR LITIGATION LAWYER

Location: Nicosia or Limassol, Cyprus | Full-time

A Cyprus law firm with offices in Limassol, Nicosia and Athens is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join its litigation team based either in Nicosia or Limassol.

This is an opportunity for a capable advocate to manage complex disputes, work closely with the firm’s partners and advise local and international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage litigation matters from initial advice through to trial and appeal.
• Represent clients before the Cyprus courts.
• Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions and legal opinions.
• Advise on litigation strategy, interim relief and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, ensuring high standards of work and compliance with court deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified advocate admitted to practise in Cyprus, with a valid practising licence.
• At least five years’ post-qualification experience in litigation, with substantial experience before the Cyprus courts.
• Strong experience in civil and commercial disputes.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload independently and work effectively within a team.
• Professional integrity, sound judgment and a client-focused approach.

Experience in corporate and shareholder disputes, injunctions, insolvency or cross-border litigation will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 13:30 and 14:30 - 18:00.

Friday: 08:30 - 14:00.
