We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day management of our warehouse, transport operations, deliveries, and logistics team.

The Role

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee the smooth movement of goods from receipt through storage, order preparation, dispatch, and final delivery. The role requires strong operational leadership, excellent organisation, and the ability to respond quickly to changing customer and transport requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics department.
• Plan and coordinate deliveries, collections, routes, and transport schedules.
• Coordinate drivers, vehicles, subcontracted transport providers, and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure customer shipments are collected and delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, delivery schedules, mileage, and operational performance.
• Organise efficient route planning and optimise transportation resources.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate closely with customers, suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor delivery performance, delays, damages, returns, and customer complaints.
• Ensure vehicles, equipment, and warehouse facilities are maintained and operational.
• Monitor transportation and warehouse costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Manage, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel.
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, vehicle utilisation, warehouse productivity, order accuracy, and cost per delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, road transport requirements, health & safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Implement improvements to logistics processes, systems, and workflows.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transport, warehouse, distribution, or a similar operational management role.
• Previous experience managing drivers, warehouse staff, or logistics teams.
• Strong understanding of transport and delivery operations.
• Experience with route planning, fleet coordination, and delivery scheduling.
• Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management processes.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP, TMS, WMS, or other logistics management systems will be considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of relevant transport, health & safety, and operational requirements.
• A valid driving licence is required; relevant professional driving/fleet qualifications are an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Greek / other language requirements.
