Philippou Law Firm is looking to recruit a Mid-Level Corporate & Tax Lawyer to join our growing Corporate & Tax Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer who wishes to work on a broad range of corporate, commercial and tax matters, within a dynamic and internationally focused legal practice.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of matters, including:

• Cyprus and international corporate structuring and reorganisations
• Incorporation and ongoing administration of Cyprus companies
• Drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements
• Shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements and other transactional documentation
• Corporate governance and regulatory matters
• Cyprus tax advisory and tax structuring
• Tax residency and Non-Domicile matters
• Cross-border transactions and international tax matters
• Liaising with clients, accountants, tax advisers, banks and other professional advisers
• Conducting legal and tax research and preparing legal opinions, memoranda and client advice

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in corporate, commercial and/or tax law
• A recognised law degree and admission to practice law
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus corporate and commercial law
• Experience or a strong interest in Cyprus and international taxation
• Excellent drafting, legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
• A commercial and solution-oriented approach when advising clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration & Benefits

• Annual gross salary: €25,000–€40,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• Performance bonus twice per year, based on individual performance
