CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a multi-billion-dollar single-family office operating from offices in Cyprus, London, Luxembourg, and New York with a long-history of successful investments in a wide-range of industries and sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Accountant, you will work as part of an established Finance Team, performing various accounting duties for the Cyprus operation, as well as other entities within the Group. You will need to be a full member of the ACA/ACCA and possess approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for a Top-Tier Audit & Accounting Firm or Fiduciary/Corporate Services provider. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a generous discretionary annual bonus, as well as Private Medical Insurance. This is a fully onsite position, and working hours are from 09:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Preparation of financial statements.
• Interaction with tax advisers (Income Tax and VAT).
• Interaction with auditors (Cyprus, Luxembourg, Switzerland, etc.).
• Back-office function (daily bank reconciliation and posting of daily trades, interaction with Middle Office to report breaks, etc.).
• Recalculation of coupon income, dividend, interest income and expense.
• General accounting and bookkeeping duties as needed for Cyprus and other group companies (capital market transactions, opex, payroll, etc.).
• Financial analysis support on transactions.
• Management reporting (quarterly accounts, NAVs and other reports).

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Educated to degree level from a well-respected university.
• Fully qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained working for a Top 4 Audit & Accounting Firm or Top-Tier Fiduciary/Corporate Services provider.
• Good IFRS background.
• Knowledge of tax compliance (VAT/Income Tax) an advantage.
• Back-office experience a strong plus but not a prerequisite.
• Financial reporting background.
• Genuine interest in the accounting function, combined with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Business Central or an equivalent accounting system a plus, but not essential.
• Highly motivated to work within an investment firm.
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
