Anthony Ashiotis & Co is a well-established accounting, audit and advisory firm based in Nicosia. We are looking to hire an Accounting Officer / Bookkeeper to join our team.

In this role, you will maintain timely and accurate accounting records for client companies and prepare them for audit by our audit department. If you have the necessary skills and would like to develop your career within a professional and established firm, we look forward to receiving your CV.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Maintain timely and accurate accounting records for client companies and prepare them for audit by our audit department
• Complete and submit VAT, VIES and INTRASTAT returns
• Perform monthly reconciliations
• Prepare payroll calculations and process relevant statutory payments
• Support and liaise with the audit department

Candidate profile

• Previous experience in an accounting firm will be considered an advantage
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of VAT, VIES and INTRASTAT
• Knowledge of payroll and personal taxation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic accounting software packages
• Willingness to learn, acquire new skills and develop professionally
