CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Senior Auditor, you will primarily be involved in client acceptance procedures and in identifying risk areas and planning the audit work accordingly. Our client is seeking candidates who ideally hold an academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, who hold the ACA/ACCA qualification.  You will need to possess approximately 4+ years of work experience as an auditor preferably gained in an audit firm setting. Working knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs along with knowledge of CaseWare audit international methodology is essential. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek & English is a must. Our client offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience including a 13th salary, provident fund, annual salary reviews, and Friday afternoon’s off.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Involvement in client acceptance procedures.
• Understanding client’s business.
• Identifying risk areas and planning the audit work accordingly.
• Executing and finalizing the audit work.
• Demonstrating understanding of tax issues.
• Completing client’s tax returns.

Key Skills/Experience:

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field is desirable.
• Approximately 4+ years of work experience as an auditor in an audit firm.
• ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Working knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs.
• Knowledge of CaseWare audit international methodology.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Good on time management.
• Excellent command of Greek and English languages.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
