CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected company operating in the Construction & Real Estate sectors, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Construction Supervisor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Construction Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess approximately 5+ years of proven experience supervising and managing construction projects onsite. You will need to hold in-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety standards and regulations, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Supervision and management of daily operations at the construction site.
• Monitoring and ensuring the progress of works and recording daily reports.
• Checking and ensuring adherence to safety and health measures at the site.
• Managing work teams and assigning their tasks.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Inspecting the quality of materials and equipment used at the site.
• Coordinating deliveries and dispatches of materials and tools.
• Reading and implementing technical drawings and specifications.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Construction Management related roles is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in the Greek and English languages.
