Summary of the Role
Deliver spa reception services in line with the quality standards set by the hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide spa orientation on arrival, including the location and use of locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
- Offer guests amenities such as water, juice, or heated neck pillows.
- Answer questions about general property information and amenities.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
- Check the computer regularly throughout the day for schedule updates and changes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, treatment rooms, spa/salon locker room, and lounge areas.
- Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
- Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Stock towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the locker room, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; protect company assets.
- Anticipate and respond to guests’ service needs and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; moving, lifting, or carrying objects up to 4.5 kg; and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
General Responsibilities
- Attend meetings or training sessions as required by management.
- Be familiar with hotel fire procedures, security procedures, facilities and attractions, and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Follow hotel operating standards and departmental procedures.
- Be conversant with accepted methods of payment (for cash handling staff only).
- Be conversant with current licensing regulations (Food and Beverage Service department only).
- Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures for quality, environment, and food safety.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar Spa Receptionist role or previous customer-related experience.
- Excellent knowledge of English (Greek and Russian are a plus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Pleasant, customer-centric personality.
