Social Media Executive

On behalf of a leading marketing agency in Cyprus, based in Nicosia.

Overview

We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Executive to help manage clients’ online presence across multiple platforms. The role covers content planning, campaign execution, community management, and performance monitoring, with a focus on brand visibility and audience engagement.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, manage, and publish monthly content calendars for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise organic and paid social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging formats to improve reach, engagement, and performance.
  • Manage day-to-day community management by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with creative, performance, and client service teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across digital touchpoints.
  • Set up, monitor, and optimise social media advertising campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
  • Track KPIs and prepare regular performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct competitor, industry, and audience research to inform content strategy and campaign planning.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice, and compliance with platform guidelines and client standards.
  • Support pitches and strategy development with social media insights and proposals when required.
Candidate Profile

You are organised, digitally fluent, and up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices. You are comfortable working across both organic and paid social activity, and collaborating with multiple internal teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally within an advertising or digital agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising platforms, including Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and YouTube.
  • Proven ability to analyse performance data, identify insights, and implement optimisations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
