CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established company operating in the field of Land Separation & Sales, we are seeking to recruit a Fleet Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the vehicle fleet to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. As part of your role, you will manage vehicle acquisition, maintenance, compliance, driver performance, and transportation logistics. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, who hold prior experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or operations. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, and Provident Fund. Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Monitor and optimize the operation of the company's fleet of machinery and equipment.
  • Utilize GPS systems for tracking, monitoring, and managing the fleet.
  • Identify, evaluate, and procure new machinery and vehicles that meet the company's operational needs.
  • Plan and supervise maintenance activities (routine, preventive, and corrective repairs) to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of machinery.
  • Obtain quotations, order, and receive materials required for the maintenance and repair of machinery.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs, documenting completed work, identified issues, and inspection findings.
  • Provide technical guidance to production personnel, ensuring the proper use and operation of machinery.
  • Review and verify invoices related to various maintenance expenses.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate cost tracking.

 

Key Skills/Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or operations.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet software, and transportation regulations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.
  • Excellent communication and vendor-management abilities.
  • Analytical skills for budgeting, reporting, and cost optimization.
