We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Engineer to join our sustainability team, contributing to projects in the fields of energy and environmental management. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are interested in working at the intersection of engineering and environmental solutions, supporting both local and international projects.

The Role:

The role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects in energy and sustainability, while gaining valuable exposure to international assignments and EU-funded programmes. You will be involved in a wide range of technical and advisory assignments, including:

  • Energy efficiency and renewable energy projects

  • Waste management systems and circular economy initiatives

  • Sustainability and environmental projects (including EU-funded programmes)

  • Technical assessments, feasibility studies, and implementation support

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to innovative solutions in rapidly evolving sectors.

Your key Responsibilities include:

  • Support the design, analysis, and implementation of projects in energy and enviromental management

  • Assist in technical studies, data analysis, and preparation of reports

  • Contribute to project delivery, including coordination with clients and stakeholders

  • Contribute to energy markets related research and data analysis

  • Participate in field work, site visits, and technical assessments where required

  • Support the preparation of technical proposals and project documentation

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and EU policy developments in energy and sustainability.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant area (electrical or mechanical engineering, energy management, environmental, economics)

  • Up to 3 years of experience (early graduates in the respective fields are encouraged to apply if they have a real interest in these sectors)

  • Exposure to, or interest in energy, renewable energy, or sustainability sectors will be considered a significant advantage

  • Qualifications as Energy Auditor will be considered a significant advantage

  • Basic understanding of energy systems, environmental technologies, or waste management is highly desirable

  • Basic knowledge of electricity and/or gas regulation and policies at national and EU level

  • Prior experience in electricity or gas TSO, DSO or utility will be considered as an advantage

  • Knowledge of EU Taxonomy & Environmental Impact Assessments will be considered as an advantage

Preferred Skills and attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent command of spoken and written Greek & English Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of engineering or data tools is a plus

  • Knowledge of AI tools is desirable

  • Willingness to learn and develop in multidisciplinary projects

  • Ability to manage complex projects

  • Interest in contributing to sustainable development and environmental solutions

  • Effective communication and rapport building skills

  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions

  • An extremely high work ethic

  • Motivation for career progression and development
