About the Role:

Trinity Private School in Limassol, Cyprus, is seeking a dedicated IT Teacher to join our Primary School team. We offer excellent professional development opportunities, including participation in regular IB trainings, conferences, and in-house workshops. Our Primary School is in the process of becoming an IB PYP school and aims to implement the IB PYP framework, emphasizing inquiry-based learning and a transdisciplinary approach.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can integrate technology meaningfully into the learning process and create an engaging, supportive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a technology curriculum aligned with the IB PYP framework

• Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based IT lessons

• Integrate digital tools across subjects to support transdisciplinary learning

• Teach core digital skills: digital literacy, basic coding, and digital citizenship

• Use ManageBac for planning and tracking student progress (if applicable)

• Collaborate with homeroom teachers to integrate technology into units of inquiry

• Ensure safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom

• Contribute to a collaborative school environment and participate in school initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, IT, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience teaching in a primary school

• Experience in curriculum planning and lesson design

• IB PYP experience is an advantage

• Proficiency in English (Russian is an advantage)

• Ability to teach both individual students and groups

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Google Workspace

• Experience with basic coding platforms (e.g. Scratch or similar) and creative digital tools for primary education

• Ability to select age-appropriate tools to support inquiry and student creativity
