Role Overview
The Asset Manager will support the SME and Retail Resolution Units in the active management of secured and unsecured non-performing exposures. The role focuses on maximising recoveries across multiple asset classes through restructuring, enforcement, and portfolio optimisation strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Engage directly with debtors and other stakeholders to initiate and progress debt resolution strategies.

Manage and negotiate restructuring solutions for complex cases, ensuring alignment with internal recovery objectives.

Coordinate legal proceedings, including court actions, payment orders, enforcement measures, foreclosure processes, and auctions.

Oversee insolvency and bankruptcy processes for non-viable obligors.

Perform and/or review:

Going concern assessments
-
Liquidation analyses
-
Real estate collateral positioning and recovery potential

Develop and recommend optimal resolution strategies on a case-by-case basis.

Prepare and submit restructuring proposals to the relevant approval committees.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective execution and monitoring of approved strategies.

Monitor performance under agreed repayment arrangements and take corrective action where required.

Ensure full adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the performance of relevant controls and reviews.
Skills/Requirements

University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline (preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in SME and/or Retail debt management, including hands-on exposure to:

Non-performing exposures (NPEs)

Recovery and restructuring processes
-

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and within demanding timelines.

Sound analytical skills, with the ability to prepare reports and deliver structured presentations.

Fluency in Greek and English (both verbal and written).
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-
Knowledge of the AroTRON system will be considered an advantage.
Location
The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
