The Client:

Our client Allwyn, a leading gaming company in Greece and Cyprus and one of the most renowned in its industry worldwide is expanding its operations in Cyprus and is looking to recruit a Sales and Trade Manager.

Position Mission:

To implement Company Retail Strategy and ensure the achievement of sales targets across the retail network, through an efficient Commercial Policy, the direction of a goal-oriented sales team, the implementation of Network Development plan, and the engagement of the network agents for building high level customer service culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proposes the sales targets for the retail network and upon approval ensures their achievement, focusing on increasing performance and profitability.
  • Contributes to the establishment of sales processes and procedures in alignment with the regulations and standards of Allwyn
  • Ensures that the region network operations are following Responsible Game, the sales processes, procedures and commercial policy
  • Participates in the development of the commercial policy, financial support or benefits to the agents, to enable the viability of the network and engage the agents to perform
  • Safeguards the development of fruitful relationships with the region agents and local unions ensuring promotion of Allwyn interests and establishment of win-win solutions
  • Motivates and counsels the Area Managers on the achievement of their sales targets and the relationship management / provision of support / resolution of issues etc. of the agents
  • Safeguards the development of fruitful relationships with agents ensuring promotion of Allwyn interests and establishment of win-win solutions
  • Ensures Responsible Game principles in Retail Networks
  • Develops Allwyn network strategic placement and controls the negotiations with agents for achieving commercial agreements
  • Provides training and support to all agents
  • Coaches partners' mindset and mentality towards the development of their strategic thinking, having as a target, partners to be more engaged to our strategy and contribute to the business development
  • Sets and monitors Area Managers stores visit plan and conducts co-visits with them
  • Contributes to the establishment planning and execution of the Allwyn stores strategic placement and expansion plan in own region and controls supports the negotiations with agents for achieving commercial agreements while cooperating closely with the other Channels to support their development in their own area
  • Ensures the design and delivery of merchandising / in store activations for the promotion of products in alignment with product guidelines
  • Monitros market trends and customer needs, proposing changes in product portfolio or stores operations to improve sales and enhace customer satisfaction.
  • Handles the execution of the product roll-out plan in alignment with Product Team
  • Leads remodelling of shops
  • Manages the members of own team, providing the necessary support and feedback for the development of their skills and achievement of set goals
  • Responds to ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs that are not specifically or previously described and are related to the content of current job and the personal skills and capabilities

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

  • BSc and/or Masters in Business Administration, Marketing, or any other relevant field
  • Hands-on experience in B2B sales in companies with large retail network (e.g. Retail, Telecoms, FMCG)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience are required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Very good numerical skills, analytical and strategic thinking

Location:

The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Remuneration:

Annual Gross Salary based on qualifications and experience: €60K – €65K plus other benefits.
