Debt Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an entry-level Debt Portfolio Manager to join our Credit Management team in Cyprus. In this role, you will support our collection activities and help ensure efficient payment flows across a global customer portfolio.
This position provides a great chance to enter or expand your career in credit management. We will provide the training and support needed to help you grow into the role.
What is in it for you
In this position, you will become part of a team responsible for NORDEN’s structured collection processes.
You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, our commercial teams and functions handling invoicing and disputes, gaining insight into how financial processes support the business. Besides this you will also handle the contact to external stakeholders.

The tasks that await you
As a Debt Portfolio Manager, you will support the management of a customer portfolio and contribute to our collection processes. You will:
- Follow up on outstanding balances and support collection activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers while handling balance inquiries.
- Monitor payments and assist in resolving discrepancies together with internal stakeholders.
- Support documentation of collection activities and reporting.
- Contribute to improving processes and creating more efficient payment flows.
You will gradually take on more responsibility as you become familiar with the role and the business.
Your core skills and qualifications
We are looking for a structured and motivated profile who enjoys working with people and wants to build a career within finance and credit management.
Besides this, you:
- Have relevant experience from an internship, student job or entry-level role within finance, accounting or controlling
- Alternatively, hold a degree in finance, business administration or a related field
You have an interest in working with both customers and financial processes and are comfortable navigating data and systems in your daily work. You bring curiosity, take initiative in your approach to tasks and are motivated to keep learning and growing over time.
Experience from shipping or credit management is not required, we will support your learning.
