Position Overview

The Host/ Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests and providing excellent service at the restaurant/bar of the Hotel. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

· Welcome guests to the venue

· Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists

· Escort guests to assigned dining area. Seat guests by finding a clean, available table

· Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance.

· Manage Reservations

Requirements

· High school graduate or equivalent / Hotel & Catering Diploma is a plus

· Previous experience in the same position or any similar serving experience in Hospitality Industry

· Excellent Knowledge of English Language

· Excellent Communication Skills

· Knowledge of Hotel software/PMS is a plus

· Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
