Philippou Law Firm, a leading law firm based in Paphos, is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly organised HR Manager to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the firm’s human resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, internal policies and HR compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The HR Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, arranging interviews and supporting hiring decisions.
- Preparing and maintaining employment contracts, HR records, internal policies and personnel files.
- Supporting onboarding and induction procedures for new employees.
- Monitoring employee performance, attendance, leave and overall workplace conduct.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and internal procedures.
- Supporting management in employee relations matters and day-to-day HR issues.
- Coordinating training, professional development and team development initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with Cyprus employment legislation and applicable internal policies.
- Promoting a positive, professional and productive working environment.
- Liaising with external consultants, accountants or authorities where required in relation to employment, payroll or HR matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or any other related field.
- Previous experience in an HR role, preferably in a professional services or corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of Cyprus employment law and HR procedures.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office administration tools.
