Role: Head of Sales Department

Company: J. K. Vavlitis, member of the Vavlitis Group, which is the distributor of HITACHI HVAC equipment/systems for the Cyprus market since 1973, is currently seeking to recruit, due to expansion of business, a high caliber person to fulfil the above position.

Position summary & key areas of responsibility

An exciting and highly challenging position, the ideal candidate should be results oriented, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a solid background in sales, willing to work hard. The person appointed will also be expected to successfully:

• Manage the sales team, including defining and communicating Key Performance Indicators and targets
• Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
• Perform market and competition analysis
• Ensure that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications
• Identify potential clients
• Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
• To perform other relevant duties.
• Work within the company’s code of ethics.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing or in a similar field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to prioritize, work within a team and allocate tasks
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages
• Have a pleasant personality and strong commercial awareness
• The ability to work under pressure and handle stress
