Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit a Waterpark Head Lifeguard

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily lifeguard operations across all pools, slides, the lazy river, and wave attractions.
• Conduct opening and closing readiness checks, ensuring all attractions and observation points are safe and operational.
• Oversee lifeguard rotation schedules in line with local & international waterpark safety standards.
• Ensure constant surveillance and proactive incident prevention across all aquatic zones.
• Enforce waterpark safety rules and respond immediately to all rescue situations or guest incidents.
• Deliver regular in-service training for lifeguards (scanning techniques, rescue drills, CPR, AED, first aid).
• Maintain certifications, logs, rescue equipment, and emergency readiness documentation.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of lifeguards, slide attendants, and safety personnel.
• Prepare daily safety reports, incident logs, rotation schedules, and operational checklists.
• Coordinate closely with the Waterpark Management Team and Emergency Response Team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a supervisory lifeguard role (preferably in a waterpark or resort environment).
• Valid Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-motivation skills.
• Excellent observation, decision-making, and incident-response ability.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to perform rescues as required.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
