We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting team in Nicosia.

The Role

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support a broad international client base and help maintain accurate financial records and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting entries

• Managing in-house accounting for a portfolio of international business clients

• Preparing and submitting VAT and VIES returns

• Producing management reports and financial insights

• Working across a variety of industries and accounting scenarios

This position offers hands-on experience with diverse client structures and the chance to broaden your expertise in an international environment.

Requirements

We are seeking a proactive professional who is comfortable working to deadlines and handling multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will have:

• CAT / LCCI Higher in Accounting or an Associate Degree

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent command of the English language

• Strong IT skills, including MS Office and familiarity with accounting software

• Strong numerical, communication, and time management skills

• The ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and show initiative
