KonnektTalexio Cyprus is extending its service portfolio to include payroll. The Payroll Lead is a foundational role: you will be the first person on the ground building the payroll operational infrastructure in Cyprus from scratch, with the support of the KonnektTalexio Cyprus team, our established Malta payroll team, and access to legal and accounting advisors.

The first months will be intentionally light on volume. This is an opportunity to build the service around exceptional delivery from day one.

We are open to engaging on a part-time or full-time basis. A part-time setup may suit someone who wants to grow with the role as volume builds. A full-time setup may suit someone who, in addition to the core responsibilities, wants to support Cypriot market outreach by attending events, building visibility, and contributing to business development efforts locally.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building the foundation

• Design the Cypriot payroll computation blueprint, a core reference for how payroll is calculated in Cyprus.
• Set up EOR services in Cyprus, including employment contracts and the compliance checklist that supports them.
• Work with internal technical and operational teams to define, validate, and document workflows as the service scales.

Running the service

• Manage the Group’s internal Cypriot payroll end-to-end.
• Onboard and manage a growing portfolio of payroll clients, with full accountability for accuracy and turnaround times.
• Resolve complex payroll and employment law queries independently, or escalate to lawyers or accountants when needed.

Supporting growth

• Represent the service in client meetings by explaining what we do, answering technical questions, and reinforcing confidence in the offering.
• Contribute to social media and website content as needed to support market presence.
• (Full-time candidates) Support Cypriot market outreach through events, networking, and building local visibility.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 3 to 5 years of experience in Cypriot payroll computation, ideally as a service provider.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Cypriot payroll legislation and employment law.
• Bring consistently high standards of accuracy and understand the responsibility that comes with payroll work.
• Be resourceful and self-directed, able to find the right answer independently through research, advisors, or escalation.
• Be comfortable representing a service that is still being built and not be unsettled by ambiguity.
• Take ownership of client relationships, with a focus on service quality and long-term outcomes.
