Almond Recruitment, on behalf of our client, a leading international accounting firm based in Nicosia, is looking to hire a Tax Manager. This is an opportunity to join a professional environment and develop your career within the business.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and tax returns, and advise on tax and VAT matters in line with Cyprus laws
• Draft tax rulings and tax memos
• Support tax structuring work and help resolve practically complex tax-related issues
• Apply knowledge of fundamental tax and legal aspects relating to major foreign jurisdictions, including the use of Double Tax Treaties
• Prepare presentations and publications on practical tax matters
• Attend meetings and conduct negotiations with the tax authorities
• Handle daily correspondence and communication with clients regarding the above
• Assist with the firm’s business development, with a focus on taxation and structuring

Requirements

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience in taxation with a top-tier accounting firm
• ACA/ACCA/LLM or equivalent qualification
• Strong communication, organisational, supervisory, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Team-player mindset
• Strong computer skills
• Commercial awareness and business development drive
• Strong sense of commitment and responsibility
• Good command of Greek and English
