The Student Services Coordinator is the primary point of contact for foreign students studying at the University of Nicosia on semester, summer, or customized study abroad programs offered in Cyprus by Global Learning Semesters. The role is responsible for delivering the programs as designed and supporting a positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Provide an excellent customer service experience and support positive reviews of the overall program
Academic Support
- Assist prospective students and enrolled participants with program-related questions, application procedures, and other tasks as they prepare to study abroad on a Global Semesters program
Administrative Support
- Organize activities related to student arrivals in Greece, housing, travel (some weekend travel required), and other organizational tasks needed to run successful programs
Communication
- Maintain close communication with the Program Manager and other members of the management team regarding program activities and events, as well as student academic and disciplinary issues
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Greek (written and oral)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) and social media skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with multi-cultural, multi-destination co-workers
- Demonstrated maturity, with the ability to independently follow work-plans and meet objectives
- Strong passion to help students make the most of their education abroad opportunities
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner under tight deadlines
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred
- Study abroad or other international experience
