Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and motivated Pastry Cook A to support our pastry kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for pastry and dessert preparation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and portion control.
• Assist in menu development and seasonal offerings under the guidance of the Head Pastry Chef.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
• Monitor inventory and inform supervisors of stock needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery kitchen, preferably in a hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for pastry arts.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary/pastry school certification is an advantage.
