CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a Cyprus-based software and AI development company delivering custom software solutions built to scale, we are seeking to recruit a QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will play an important role in building and maintaining effective automation solutions, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field who possess proven experience in QA automation and test design. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Appium is essential, and familiarity with Git or other version control system as well as solid knowledge of Python, will be considered an advantage. Working hours are flexible, starting between 7:30 and 8:30 and finishing between 15:30 and 16:30 from Monday to Friday.
 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Work experience with Playwright (web) and Appium (mobile).
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure robust test coverage.
• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and support resolution efforts.
• Promote best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other relevant field.
• Proven experience in QA automation and test design.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Appium.
• Experience with building or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Exposure to test architecture or framework design decisions.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control system.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with PyTest.
• Experience with Azure / Azure Pipelines.
