Alexander College is seeking to recruit a Full-Time Lecturer in Computer Science to join the academic team of the BSc Computer Science with Gaming Development programme at our Larnaca Campus.

The programme is a four-year, full-time, CYQAA-accredited undergraduate degree, taught in Greek, with a focus on Computer Science, software development, game development, practical learning, and industry-based projects.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Teach undergraduate Computer Science modules
• Prepare and deliver lectures, labs, seminars, and practical sessions
• Support students through academic guidance and feedback
• Contribute to assessment, marking, and academic quality processes
• Supervise projects and dissertations where required
• Participate in programme development and departmental activities
• Support research and academic development within the department

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

• A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge in areas such as software development, programming, databases, artificial intelligence, game development, cybersecurity, or related Computer Science fields
• Teaching experience in higher education will be considered an advantage
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to teach in Greek and/or English
