The Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing Product team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the trueport platform.

This role combines manual/automated testing, API testing, and release support within a fast-paced SaaS environment. Working closely with Product team, software development teams, and the Release manager, you will play a key role in validating new functionality, identifying issues early, and ensuring high-quality releases.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, analytical, and passionate about software quality. You will play a key role in verifying product functionality, improving reliability, supporting release activities, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing, engineering, and delivery processes.

What You’ll Do

• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing across the trueport platform.

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans based on business and product requirements.

• Conduct API testing to validate integrations, data accuracy, and system behavior.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.

• Work closely with Product team and developers to validate new functionality and ensure requirements are met.

• Support release preparation, release validation, and post release verification activities alongside the Release Manager and Product team.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, quality standards, and overall product quality.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role.

• Experience performing manual/automated testing of web-based applications.

• Experience testing APIs.

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test case design, and defect management.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.

• English communication skills (both written and verbal).

Nice to Have

• Experience testing SaaS platforms.

• Experience with Mendix or other low code development platforms.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.

• Experience with application lifecycle management tools.

• Familiarity with maritime, shipping, logistics, financial, or operational systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
