CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an international developer of sophisticated software solutions with regional operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Java Developer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will design and develop components of a real time platform for the automated interception, analysis, and visualisation of radio signals. You should be educated to degree level in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field, and possess solid knowledge of Java or any other OOP language such as .NET or C++. Any knowledge of Software Design, SOLID principles, Clean Code, TDD and Java frameworks like Spring, Junit, Mockito would be desirable but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop components of a real time platform for the automated interception, analysis and visualisation of radio signals.
• Implement systems based on distributed and scalable Java architectures.
• Analyse, draft and design complex modules and components from functional and non-functional requirements.
• Realise maintainable and reusable high-quality software modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other members of Group.
• Find simple solutions for complex problems.
• Share knowledge through code reviews and coach other team members.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Passionate about coding and software development.
• Enjoy working as a team player in an agile environment.
• Willing to learn and continuously grow.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Solid knowledge of Java or any other OOP language like .NET or C++.
• Knowledge desirable in:
  • Software Design and SOLID principles.
  • Clean Code and TDD.
  • Java frameworks like Spring, Junit, Mockito.
  • Tools like Maven, Git and Jenkins.
  • Parallel processing and concurrency.
