The Nines hotel, a luxury hospitality destination in Ayia Napa, is looking for a dynamic and hands-on Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and has the vision, energy, and attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of our hotel operation runs seamlessly.

As Operations Manager, you will play a central role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, working closely with department heads and supporting our teams to deliver the highest standards of service, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

You will be a visible and inspirational leader, ensuring that our operational standards are consistently maintained while identifying opportunities to improve performance and create memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination across all departments.

• Lead, motivate, and support department heads and operational teams to achieve exceptional service standards.

• Ensure a consistent and outstanding guest experience throughout every stage of the guest journey.

• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to achieve the hotel's strategic and operational objectives.

• Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering departments.

• Maintain high standards of service quality, presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

• Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction, taking a proactive approach to resolving concerns and improving the overall guest experience.

• Support the development and implementation of hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.

• Monitor staffing requirements, productivity, scheduling, and operational resources to ensure efficient workforce management.

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety, hygiene, legal, and company requirements.

• Conduct regular operational inspections and ensure that standards are consistently maintained.

• Support the planning and successful execution of events, special occasions, promotions, and hotel initiatives.

• Develop and maintain a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

• Lead by example and create an environment where colleagues feel valued, motivated, and empowered to deliver their best.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an accomplished hospitality professional who combines strong operational expertise with genuine leadership and a passion for people.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in hotel operations in a similar position.

• Experience within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment will be considered a strong advantage.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong understanding of hotel operations and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets, cost control, revenue, and profitability.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

• Confident decision-maker with the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong guest-service mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally and proactively.

• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Proficiency in relevant hotel systems and technology.
