Thanos Hotels & Resorts are currently seeking to recruit a Guest Services Officer for Almyra Hotel.

Job Role

• Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional way
• Addressing and escalating customer complaints
• Providing information about facilities, programs and other services

​​Responsibilities

• Review arrival lists to welcome guests
• Attend to special guests (e.g. VIPs) and answer their inquiries
• Ensures Proper Shift Hand Over
• Acts as a Salesperson in order to maximize the rooms revenue
• Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels rules ans requlations and the Cyprus law
• Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Front Office Manager
• Help prepare welcome folders with collateral (e.g. room service menus, area descriptions)
• Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
• Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers
• Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, taking messages)
• Address customer complaints and escalate to Guest Relations Manager when needed
• Record information in the logbook daily
• Ensure compliance with health and quality standards

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in same or similar position
• Excellent knowledge of English Language
• Knowledge of Greek, Russian any other language will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Friendly and welcome personality
• Teamwork spirit
• Passionate in delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• To be able to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
• Able to work flexible shifts including morning/evening/overnight as well as weekends & public holidays
