CareerFinders Recruitment Services LtdCareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established specialist Critical Power company in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Field Service Technician to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Field Service Technician, you will work with critical power systems ranging from small single-phase units, to larger three-phase critical battery systems used by businesses, medical facilities, hotels, IT rooms, Data Centres, and other critical applications. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, who possess 2+ years of prior experience working with critical power systems. You will need to be fluent in Greek and English, and hold a valid driver’s licence. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 17:30 from Monday to Friday, with any overtime and/or weekend work paid at a premium.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receiving testing and preparing power systems, batteries, and related equipment.
- Assisting and organizing deliveries.
- Carrying our installations, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
- Carrying out fault finding, and repairs.
- Handling of service records and appointments.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Higher education in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering is highly desirable.
- Ideally 2+ years of prior experience working with power systems.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Holder of a valid driver’s licence.
- Excellent client service skills.
