As our team expanding, we are seeking to recruit a Legal Officer in Limassol, Cyprus.

The Legal Officer shall have the following minimum qualifications:

• University degree in Law and/or Postgraduate University degree in Law;

• Strong understanding of English/Cyprus Law and/or holder of the Cyprus Bar Qualification;

• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications;

• Ability to work within a team;

• Very good written and verbal language skills in Greek and English.

The Legal Officer is responsible for:

• Drafting/reviewing marine legal agreements/documents;

• Assisting the Legal Counsel with the maintenance of the electronic company record and filing system;

• Communicating with the Group General Manager Insurance & Legal, Group General Manager Claims & Legal, Management, various law firms, auditors, advisors and other external parties;

• Ensuring that the files of the Legal section are well kept and frequently updated;

• Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;

• Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;

• Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;

• Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement;

• Undertaking special tasks and projects that might be assigned by the Top Management

The Legal Officer reports is accountable to the Legal Counsel, Group General Manager Insurance & Legal, Group General Manager Insurance & Claims.
