We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

About the Role

• Assist in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.

• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding activities on electrical and control systems.

• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

• Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and recommending corrective actions.

• Support maintenance planning and documentation, including maintenance reports and records.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.

• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and other engineering teams to minimize downtime.

• Assist in implementing improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring electrical issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or industrial environments.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives, switchgear, and control panels.

• Understanding of electrical drawings and schematics.

• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance practices.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CMMS systems is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation.

• Experience with preventive maintenance systems.

• Basic understanding of instrumentation and control systems.

• License from Electromechanical Services (EMS) Cyprus.
