Sotheby's International Realty was founded in 1976 by the Sotheby's auction house and within 40 years has grown from a subsidiary of the auction house to the world's largest network of real estate agencies. By April 2018 Sotheby's International Realty network has brought together over 22,000 employees in more than 950 offices in 69 countries and continues to grow and expand.
