Client Onboarding Officer

Point Nine is searching for a Client Onboarding Officer to join the team. The successful candidate will implement to our system first-time clients and help facilitate the introduction of new functionality and reports for existing clients. This is a hands-on position and primarily involves interaction with Circle, Point Nine’s platform. the individual will work directly with clients to analyse requirements and data in order to facilitate the implementation and onboarding as well as to provide extensive support to clients’ and Point Nine’s Operations personnel.

Founded in 2002, Point Nine is one of the industry leaders in post trade-execution processing, operations and reporting (middle and back office). We collaborate with both buy and sell side financial firms and corporates who trade in financial instruments to help them meet the ever-expanding challenges in middle and back office processes. Circle, our in-house proprietary technology, provides a real-time solution to all our customers and their trading relationships. So far, we have processed and reported in excess of 4 billion trades across all asset classes on behalf of more than 100 customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding clients’ requirements and delivering solutions to facilitate business requirements and specifications
  • Provide support including solution design, hands-on onboarding and product configuration
  • Deliver end-user training to clients, which may include technical personnel, senior executives and administrative staff
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, services and enhancement to the client
  • Reviews, analyses, designs, modifies and executes tasks to support key projects
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase service quality or operational efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports and communication to the client

Key Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications or Computer Science
  • 1-2 years’ experience as client onboarding and support in the financial industry
  • Experience with database engines such as MySQL would be considered an advantage
  • Understanding of Web services
  • Basic knowledge of a programming language (Python)
  • Knowledge of computer systems financial operations and related industries would be considered an advantage
  • Fluent in English language
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and planning skills are essential
