OBJECTIVE

To provide excellent hands-on therapy services and customer service in a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional manner to guests, participating amongst a team that is familiar with and observes all objectives, standards and procedures as provided by Le Mare Spas.

SCOPE OF THERAPIES

Hairdresser’s responsibilities include cutting hair using basic and advanced techniques, consulting customers about styles and colors and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks. They will need to create unique designs for their clients, requiring them to stay updated on the latest trends in fashion and beauty. You should also be able to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat appointments.

Daily therapy tasks, responsibilities and duties:

Note: Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes
• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
• Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
• Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage
• Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
• Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)
• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
• Manage bookings and serve walk-ins
• Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
• Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.
• Using models and fashion magazines as reference points.
• Knowledge of the brands used.
• Consulting clients on their routines.

• Actively participating in promoting the services individually when needed and as a team.
• Assisting the reception when is needed as requested by the spa Manager/ Receptionist.
• Comply with health and safety regulations

Hairdresser’s Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Hairdressing diploma.
• Proven working experience.
• In-depth knowledge of make-up techniques and cosmetology trends.
• The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
• Detail-orientated and patient.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
