The Client

The Company, a long standing Cypriot manufacturing and trading business with a leading position in its field of expertise, is searching for a dynamic, driven individual who is required to lead the efforts of the company to enhance its leading position in the category of interest with a particular focus in the HORECA channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors and drives sales and revenue for a well known coffee and other brands across the HoReCa channel in Cyprus

  • Builds and sustains relationships with both existing and prospective customers

  • Monitors developments in the marketplace, identifies and seizes sales opportunities and proposes relevant action plans for further development

  • Leads the selling and negotiation process (lead generation, present brands, run product demonstration, final agreement with commercial offer)

  • Aims at a one-stop-shop approach to secure full product portfolio agreements within the HoReCa channel in Cyprus

  • Monitors customer agreements, evaluates sales performance of a well known coffee and other brands and ensures full implementation of agreements in place

  • Evaluates sales performance of all SKUs across the portfolio on a monthly basis and initiates relevant action plans

  • Sets quarterly meetings with the area inspectors to evaluate sales performance and secure alignment against targets

  • Secures a profitability threshold based on the total investment per outlet (commercial agreement, equipment, visibility)

  • Secures machines productivity through the right placement, as well as evaluates productivity of existing machines already placed in the marketplace

  • Acts as brand ambassador to the area sales teams, cascading the coffee knowledge through continuous on the job training

  • Travel abroad to participate in relevant exhibitions, educational seminars etc


Skills, Experience and Qualifications
1. Considered as advantage

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Sales

  • Knowledge of the Coffee Industry and of international coffee consumption trends

  • Previous experience within the HoReCa channel

2.Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language


Location
The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia

Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
